Equity Matters

Equity Matters is a Seattle, Washington-based women of color consulting team. We specialize in supporting organizations in the pursuit of racially just transformation. We engage individuals in making organizational changes that last beyond the current people.

We use collaborative planning, assessments, workshops, and practice and design labs to support systemic racial equity change. We have close to two decades of experience supporting government entities, educational institutions, philanthropic and non-profit organizations.

We value relationships, systems change, transformation, slowing down, squad care, and focusing on power.

Our Racial Equity in Practice (PDF) Cards offer a practical solution, providing eight engaging activity ideas per deck to help you apply these principles in real-world scenarios. Think of them as your “racial equity consultant in a box”—ideal for Racial Equity and DEI departments. Each deck includes technical assistance to ensure successful implementation.
